Actually, I think Mercedes would butcher it. She’s too showy, she’d never capture the raw subtlety of Adele’s pipes. The ONLY person who is fabulous enough to pull off Adele is Naya Rivera, because she’s honestly the best singer on the show AND **as we saw in “Landslide”** is the best at conveying subtly heart-wrenching emotion that compliments the songs rather than hinders them. Still, I’m dubious. Adele is inimitable, and I’d hate for Glee to do what it did to “Dog Days Are Over” to “Rolling in the Deep”.  Nobody better mess wit mah lady <3
